Antaeus

Antaeus

Notably striking performance stallion whose positive attitude is written all over his face

"Antaeus" placed third in the stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse in 1998 where he scored the maximum of 10,0 for jumping as well as for his eagerness and constitution.

His father "Acord II" is considered one of the best sires of show jumpers of the younger generation. Dam "Arabesque" descends from a very noble Hanoverian family of performers: She is not only full sister to "Aramis", (World Cup champion in 1982 under Mario Deslauriers, Canada), but also sister to the approved stallion and oftentimes S-winner "Amani" and to Federal championess "Arabella". The mares "Adelane" and "Anatevka 40" who are successful show-jumpers in S-tests are also full sisters to "Arabesque", all sired by "Argentan". "Anmut", another member of this prosperous dynasty, gave birth to the successful novice sire "Last Liberty". Because of the almost legendary match with stallion "Argentan I" the grand dam "Elfenfee" must be regarded as one of the most prolific mares in the history of the Hanoverian horse.

"Antaeus' " athletic career under Markus Beerbaum resulted in victories and placings in show-jumping competitions of classes L and M and in qualifying for the Federal Championship for German show-jumpers, the Bundeschampionat. His offspring captivate with their sporty outfit, finest basic gaits, and high jumping potential.

In Verden "Antaeus" already presented several foals and performance horses for the collections of the elite auctions. In 2004 his Saxon daughter "Acapella G" attracted attention: She won the South-German Riding Horse Championship and placed as finalist at the Bundeschampionat at Warendorf.
