Competent
It's all in the name: a true "all-rounder"
"Competent" is available as frozen semen in limited supply after he sadly had to be put down in 2005. "Competent" presented himself highly elastic in the three basic gaits and had an astounding way of jumping. He finished the stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse in 2000 as one of the best stallions out of 51 horses of the same year in performance class I. He excelled especially in jumping with the highest scores. "Competent" was the first of many licensed sons of the much-appreciated "Compliment", and through "Glückspilz", "Graphit" and "Gotthard" on the dam's side he is infused with G-blood which is so precious for Hanover. In former generations the stallions "Landherr" and "Keith" of East-Prussian background can be found who were valuable sires in their time. From the same mating dam "Gescha" also gave birth to "Competent's" one year younger and equally licensed full brother "Campo Grande" who is at stud in Hessian stallion depot Dillenburg. Closely related is young "Accuse", state sire of Moritzburg and highly estimated. The maternal line is of identical origin as that of the well-known stallions "Sigesmund" (Oldbg.) and „Wulf“ (Celle). "Competent" convincingly passes on his great athletic gifts and brilliant type to his offspring. He already sired auction foals and – as one of the highlights in his career – the winning foal of the South-German foal championship in 2002. In 2004 as well foal shows and national championships were won by his offspring. They have repeatedly achieved top prices at the auctions in Verden. With his sons "Chatman" who was licensed in 2005 and "Christ", licensed in Verden in 2007, "Competent" is still present to this day.
